Holiday Parade

Event Canceled

The marching band and color guard has been invited be a part of a fun event at HarborChase of Beavercreek which is a senior living facility on Indian Ripple Rd in Beavercreek. On Saturday morning, Nov 21 the staff of HarborChase is creating their very own Thanksgiving Parade around the grounds of their building featuring our band and color guard! The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. with a report time at The Vineyard Church (next door) of 9:30 a.m.

It is our hope that the vast majority of our band and guard will choose to participate in this event. Students should sign-up to participate by clicking this link:

We will be playing the song we normally use for the Greene Parade (Jingle Bell Jam) and will rehearse it next Tuesday after school from 3:15-4:15. I have attached a set of parts to this email for those of you who will not be in school tomorrow or Friday to pick up a copy. We will also rehearse it in class on Friday so please have marching band instruments with you that day!

It is possible for parents to see this event as well (although space is somewhat limited). Please see the map below for details, but there is a “hill” between The Vineyard Church and HarborChase on which our families can view the parade. Please do not head down the connecting road onto HarborChase’s property – it is important that we give their residents and staff the space they need. Please socially distant in this space and plan to wear a mask!
